MUNELA is a black and white camera for iPhone. The brightest light in the frame spreads into the darkness around it, the way light blooms on film. It was tuned by the Japanese photographer Keitaro Kobayashi (Instagram @cobaltsan / n-a-u.com), with the aim of making beautiful images easy to take on an iPhone. Each frame is developed live from the camera's HDR signal, so what you see while shooting is what you keep, in photographs and in video.

There are only three controls, GLOW, EXPOSURE and GRAIN, so you never have to stop and wonder what to change. You choose a ratio and shoot while looking inside the frame, with a white, black or frosted glass border.

Shooting feels like looking through the viewfinder of a camera. MUNELA is made so that simply pointing it at everyday scenes is a pleasure, even without taking a picture.

MUNELA は、iPhone のためのモノクロカメラです。画面の中でいちばん明るい光が、フィルムのにじみのように、まわりの暗がりへあふれます。写真家・小林慶太朗（Instagram @cobaltsan／n-a-u.com）自身がチューニングし、iPhone でも気軽に美しい表現ができることを目指しました。カメラの HDR の信号からその場で現像するので、撮っているときに見えている光が、そのまま写真と動画に残ります。

調整は、光のあふれ・露出・粒子の3つだけで、迷わず撮ることができます。比率を選び、白枠・黒枠・すりガラスの枠の中を見ながら撮ります。

カメラのファインダーを覗くように撮影でき、写真を撮らなくても、日常の風景にカメラを向けるだけで楽しめるように設計しています。
